More Than Just a Landing Page: Inside DNX’s First-of-Its-Kind Domain Portfolio Management Suite

DNX Domain Landing Pages and Portfolio Management

If you aren’t already familiar with DNX and its innovative new way to shop for domain names, then this post will be even more valuable for adding to your domain arsenal. Created by Josh Reason, who many of you may know from Domain Sherpa, Crypto, X, or one of many private discords or insider chats, you will be able to tell right away this tool was built by someone with their finger right on the pulse of what’s happening in the domain world.

What is DNX?

To put it simply, DNX is a platform where domain buyers and investors can go to get away from the chaos taking place at domain auctions and hunt, rather easily, for domain names listed at “wholesale” prices by users on Afternic, Sedo or Atom. Granted this takes some skill of your own to be able to identify these opportunities in a sea of millions of domain names, but if you know what you’re doing, you can find some gems that are very mispriced. Think one word .org or .co registered in 200+ TLDs for $499. I have already done this a few times personally at DNX, as well as several other quality brand names at $xxx – low $x,xxx that would have easily gone for 10-50x at GoDaddy auction.

Suffice to say, I am a fan of DNX and what they are doing, so I was extremely excited when I learned of the new landing pages that were going to be released soon. At the time of writing they are now open to the public right at DNX.com if you have a free account, but having stumbled into an early access beta of the new landers and portfolio management, I spent the last few weeks getting a feel for how the different features can be utilized, and it’s much much more than just a new landing page option like I expected. I think it might also be a good time to let readers know that this is not a paid promotion nor do I have any vested interest in DNX, they really do just make great tools and are open to giving the community the features that they want.

Landing Pages Done Right

After “suffering” through the restrictiveness of Afternic landing pages, which I put in quotations as they have still been the largest source of my sales by a good margin, it was extremely refreshing when Spaceship launched their new beautifully designed landers at only a meager 5% commission this year. In what now feels like the biggest era of innovation for domain names, Unstoppable Domains also released their new marketplace and landers with 3% commission along with $5 Fridays, Namepros added new features to their free 0% commission landers, Efty, Atom, and now DNX releasing arguably the cleanest landers of them all with my personal favorite feature a domain lander could have, “Start Conversation”, it’s started to feel a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to park your domain portfolio.

Well that’s what makes the new lander release from DNX so great, it’s much more than just new landers on the market. The real value comes from the free portfolio management features and domain name tracking, which as far as I know has never been done, at least not until now. With the ability to import via CSV or manually, you can set your entire portfolio up in minutes and right in your dashboard you can see columns for all of your domains including: Nameservers, TLDs, Expiration, and my 3 favorite, Atom, Sedo & Godaddy pricing. For the first time ever, a lander is actually encouraging that you list elsewhere, and giving you the ability to sync your pricing across the 3 largest markets from one place. That’s because DNX isn’t really a domain marketplace in the traditional sense.

Why DNX’s Domain Management is So Unique

Whenever you try to check out from a DNX lander is when you’ll see that right then and there, the buyer has the option to choose the platform of their choice to make their purchase. Giving buyers their preferences, sellers the freedom to manage and own all of their lead data, along with detailed analytics and more, it becomes pretty clear that DNX is in it for the domain owner’s interest, unlike so many platforms that, well, aren’t.

The Power of Domain Monitoring

If you don’t feel compelled to give DNX a go still, then let me introduce to you my personal favorite tool, domain monitoring. This feature can be used many ways, but I personally tested it for domain names that I have had on my Wishlist but weren’t within my budget at the time or have been registered, just waiting for the day I see the owner miss their renewal. Having been in this industry 20 years and seeing all of the people come and go looking for a quick buck, if there is one thing I’ve learned; not many domainers have patience or understand how to price their domain names. Funnily enough just last night this feature already allowed me to purchase a domain that’s been on my list for only $200!

Owning the domain name Aigentics.com, which has already seen quite a bit of interest from buyers with decent sized budgets, I have been wanting to lock-down the other slightly alternative brand Aigentix.com, to not only protect the value/brand of my domain name, but to also sell or use for an Agentic AI project sometime down the road. Aigentix.com was listed for $10,000 around 6 months ago, and I happened to see it had dropped down to a $2,000 BIN while perusing DNX one day. I like to consider myself a thrifty buyer, but I was so close to buying it at $2,000, only to back down multiple times, ultimately giving up and moving on. Well bringing things full circle, last night I checked my DNX monitoring account to see a BIN of $200 staring at me, and without a second thought, I purchased it with my next click.

More to Come

There’s quite a bit more you can play around with if you decide to try it out, and even more in the pipeline with an Auction section already up and listed as “Coming Soon” at the time of writing. I really wanted to get this gem of a tool out there for anyone looking to get a leg-up in their domain investing or startup naming journey, and let others who thought like me know that DNX is much more than just a new option for shiny new landers.
